TrendSignals ("we", "us", "the app") is an informational market-signals app. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices. By using the app you agree to this policy.
What we collect
- Account email — when you create an account or sign in (including via Google). Used to authenticate you, sync your data, and handle password resets.
- Push notification token — a device token, only if you enable notifications. Used solely to deliver the alerts you set up.
- Your Book (holdings & watchlist) — the assets, quantities, and entry prices you type in for your own tracking. Stored on your device and synced to our servers so it follows you across sessions. These are numbers you enter manually — we never connect to, see, or access any brokerage, exchange, or bank account.
- App settings & alert rules — kept on your device; some preferences may sync to your account.
- Technical data — standard server logs (e.g. IP address, request time) for security and operation, and platform-provided crash/diagnostic data.
We do not collect payment details, precise location, contacts, photos, biometrics, or any brokerage/bank credentials.
How we use it
To operate the app (sign-in, sync your book, deliver your alerts), keep it secure, and improve it. We do not sell your data and do not share it for advertising. There are no third-party ad networks in the app.
Third-party services
We rely on these providers to run the app. Providers that display market content receive only the ticker/symbol you're viewing — never your identity:
- Supabase — authentication & backend (stores your email/account and synced Book).
- Google Firebase Cloud Messaging & Expo — push-notification delivery (device token).
- Bitget, Bybit, Gate.io — market data (prices, candles, volume).
- Logo.dev — asset logos. Wikipedia — asset descriptions. CoinGecko, TradingView — external info/chart links.
Each provider has its own privacy policy governing data it processes.
Storage & security
Data is stored on your device and on our servers / Supabase. We use HTTPS in transit and access controls. No method of storage or transmission is 100% secure.
Data retention
Account data is kept while your account is active. Your Book is kept until you delete it or your account. Server logs are rotated periodically.
Your rights & choices
- Edit or remove any holding/watchlist item in the app at any time.
- Turn off notifications to stop push-token use.
- Sign out, or request full account & data deletion by emailing us — we will delete your account and associated data.
- Access or correct your data by contacting us.
Children
The app is not directed to children under 13 (or the age of digital consent in your region), and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Not financial advice
TrendSignals is an informational tool. It is not financial, investment, or trading advice, and we are not a broker or financial institution. Signals are indicator-derived. You are solely responsible for your own decisions.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy; the "last updated" date will change and material changes will be surfaced in the app.
